Educational activities

The education process encourages the full development of one's inherent qualities and helps one to acquire the skills required to be established as a productive member of society. Education is the acquisition of knowledge or skills in the general sense. In a broad sense, education is the process of acquiring knowledge systematically. But education is a continuous practice of developing to the fullest of potential. The word Bengali education comes from the root 'shas'. Which means to rule or give advice. The English word for education comes from the Latin word educare or educatum. Which means to lead out, that is, to bring out or develop the inner potential. In the words of Socrates, 'Education is the eradication of falsehood and the development of truth.' Aristotle: 'Education is to create a healthy mind in a healthy body'. In the words of Rabindranath, 'Education is that which not only serves us information but also builds our lives in harmony with fidelity.

 

 

The objectives of education are-

The state principles enshrined in our constitution are to harmonize education with nationalism, socialism, democracy, and secularism.
To inculcate patriotism in the people and to make them respectful and aware of the independence and sovereignty of the country.
To stimulate the intellect, work and practical life of the students for the establishment of moral, humane, religious, cultural and social values ​​of individual and national life.
Ending illiteracy in the country.
Emphasis is placed on primary and secondary education with a view to broadening the scope of education and to strengthen the foundation of knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired at the previous level in each level of education and to assist in expanding and enabling students to acquire new knowledge and skills.
To change the economic and social condition of the country, to make education productive, productive, creative and to build a responsible and dutiful manpower with scientific vision of the students.
Giving people of all walks of life the opportunity to develop according to their own talents and tendencies.
Ensuring social progress by increasing vocational skills and creativity and creating self-employment by overcoming apathy.
To turn a huge manpower into a national asset by increasing the knowledge, skills and passion of the people engaged in different professions.
By solving important problems of public life, it is possible to create new inspiration in the life of the nation.
Inspire students to express basic freedom of thought and develop socially free thinking.
Helping students to acquire leadership qualities and to develop a sense of democracy, tolerance of mutual ideology, and development of a life-oriented, objective and concise outlook.
To build a sense of cosmopolitanism, non-communalism, friendship, sympathy and respect for human rights among the people of all countries of the world and to make them objective, science-minded and socially conscious people.
To inspire the students in the spirit of liberation war and to develop the sense of nationalism in their thinking consciousness and the qualities of good citizens in character.
To make arrangements for the transfer of lineage by developing the trends and moral values ​​of national history, tradition and culture.
Take necessary steps to maintain the quality of education at all levels.
Creating environmental awareness.
To strengthen the foundation of knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired at the previous level in each level of education and to help them to expand and enable the students to acquire new knowledge and skills.
